Lady Roc Teams are divided by graduating year from the Youth level (grade 4) through High School seniors. There are two levels of teams for each graduating year – Gold and Purple. The girls who make up the “Gold” teams are selected through a tryout process and are evaluated by skill, fitness and experience. Players in need of more improvement in each of these categories are welcome to join the “PURPLE” or developmental teams; Thus, giving all girls an opportunity to participate in playing lacrosse.
Lady Roc 2010 Team Offerings:
- 2011-2015 “GOLD” teams (5 teams): We will have one GOLD team for each graduating year, which will consist of 22 players (20 field players/2 goalies) to be determined by attending tryouts.
- Gold Player Expectations: We expect all GOLD players to attend every practice and every scheduled event with reasonably acceptable conflicts. In order to develop as a “team”, consistency from tournament to tournament is ESSENTIAL. To participate in tournaments as a PREMIER club we must be as consistent as our competitors. GOLD teams will practice once a week (Wednesday’s) throughout June and July.
- Coaching Staff: The GOLD teams will have one adult coach along with a college assistant. The team will maintain the same coaching staff for all National events. Each coach will be responsible for designing and running practice sessions. The players will practice and play as a competitive team with the coaches making playing time decisions based on attendance at practice, game performance, and attitude.

Lady Roc’s primary mission is to help young woman who aspire to play collegiate lacrosse to achieve their goal. We have redesigned our program offerings to reflect this goal and make us competitive with other clubs throughout the country. Many athletes have already taken advantage of Lady Roc as a means to assist them in obtaining athletic scholarships. As our players continue to compete for spots on DI, DII, and DIII programs we want to make sure our performance at tournaments reflects our goal. We are still very committed to developing younger players by enhancing our youth offerings, and by adding additional practices for developmental players of all ages.
